GORO Development — Official Partner of the Kyiv International Economic Forum 2025

23.10.2025

On October 18–19, 2025, GORO Development, part of the OKKO Group, which is implementing the hotel infrastructure of the all-season mountain resort GORO Mountain Resort in Slavske, acted as an official partner of the Kyiv International Economic Forum (KIEF).

Last autumn, OKKO Group’s participation in KIEF coincided with the launch of the group’s largest investment project. Today, GORO Development stands as an example of how private capital contributes to Ukraine’s recovery through the creation of modern tourism infrastructure.

“A year after launching GORO, we have achieved impressive construction progress and set an ambitious goal — to put a significant tourism mark not only on the map of Ukraine but also of Central and Eastern Europe,”
— emphasized Vasyl Danylyak, CEO of OKKO Group, Co-founder of GORO Development and GORO Mountain Resort, during his speech at the panel “Global Capital for Ukrainian Business.”

He highlighted that long-term investments are only possible in an economy where businesses demonstrate openness and reliability. These principles have enabled OKKO Group to cooperate for over 20 years with leading international financial institutions — IFC, EBRD, and BSTDB — implementing projects in Ukraine that shape the country’s new economy.

According to the co-founder of GORO, the war has exposed weaknesses across many sectors of the economy. That is why OKKO Group is now focusing its efforts on their development — from energy and tourism to real estate.

GORO Development is a Ukrainian development company within OKKO Group that attracts private investors to hotel real estate projects of the new GORO Mountain Resort. The company is creating a unique co-ownership model in the hotel business, providing access to investments in the real sector of the economy.

Key achievements of the year:

ONDE Active — the first of three hotels in the ONDE complex.
Construction began in February 2025. Within eight months, 63% of the room stock was sold, reflecting a high level of investor trust and strong interest in the co-ownership format.

ONDE Business — the second hotel in the complex with 116 rooms, designed for business travel, corporate events, and workation — combining work and leisure in nature.
Sales of investment lots for private investors opened on October 1.

GORO Invest Club — a platform for private investors in the hotel business, launched alongside the sales of ONDE Business.
More than 80 members have already joined the club — Ukrainian entrepreneurs and representatives of the diaspora eager to contribute to the development of the Carpathian region.
